The introduction credits to Bad Rap, a documentary by Salima Koroma that was screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. For the introduction, I looked at each of the 4 rappers in the documentary and tried to represent the influences that morphed them from the stereotypical studious Asian children their parents wanted them to be, into the sly rappers they embody in the film. Their scrappy fight for rap stardom lead to the DIY, hand-made asthetic that ended up setting the tone for the piece.
